Walnut Wood with Cotton Cards
These impressive business cards were created for designer Kenny Wong using natural materials and a combination of production processes. A layering process lets us combine two very different paper stocks into one card, creating different looks (and textures) for the front and back sides. The pairing of Natural Walnut Wood and Off-White Cotton creates a natural style that stands out while remaining professional. The front Wood side of the stock uses a premium white ink applied through a screen printing technique for crisp white that pops on the dark wood surface. The back Cotton side features regular ink printing as well as a blind deboss, where a custom metal die was created and used to create the subtle impression of the artwork into the surface of the paper itself.
