What is Super Gloss coating?
The Super Gloss coating is a type of gloss film that provides a shiny finish to your cards. This coating usually makes colors appear bright and vivid, making it perfect for mailers, promo cards, and designs with a lot of colors. Compared to the Semi Gloss coating, the Super Gloss coating is significantly glossier, and it also adds an extra layer of protection to your printed material.
What is the difference between Super Gloss and Spot UV?
Super Gloss and Spot UV are coatings that leave a glossy finish.
The main difference is the application - Super Gloss is applied as a flood, which is throughout the entire surface, and Spot UV is applied to specific areas only. See: What is Spot UV?
Super Gloss is available on a variety of stocks from 15-22pt thickness. Spot UV is only available on 20pt and 26pt Silk Matte.
