Most Popular Questions
Presentation Folders can be customized to have special sizes, larger spine width, shaped pockets, additional panels and shaped covers as well. Please submit a Print Quote request including your custom die-line file to show your specific requirements. If you do not have a die-line file our Design Department can assist you with this through a Design Service.
Why do Digital Presentation Folders have a different pocket shape to the Offset ones?
Offset and Digital output Presentation Folders are produced differently.
Due to the size of the sheet, Digital Presentation Folder pockets are printed separately and assembled together. Digital output Presentation Folders are only suitable for small quantities, or rush deadlines.
Can I have Spot UV on the pockets of my Presentation Folder?
Yes, if you are ordering your Presentation Folders on the Smooth Matte Laminate with Spot UV. The Spot UV coating can be applied anywhere on the folder – front, back, inside and/or the pockets.
You can also place a Print Quote request to order Spot UV Presentation Folders on the 14pt Semi Gloss coating.
Can I have a portrait business card holder on my Presentation Folder?
Our standard Presentation Folders come with Landscape Business Card holders.
Portrait (or custom size/shape) Business Card holders can be ordered via a Print Quote for the custom shape.
Can I move the placement of the card holder/s on my Presentation Folder?
The Business Card slits can be added or removed for offset orders; but the position is fixed. Digital Output printed presentation folders have fixed card holder slots.
The location cannot be moved (except by ordering a custom shaped folder). If you would like to order your own custom Presentation Folder shape or size, please request a Print Quote.
What is the smallest quantity of Presentation Folders I can order?
The smallest quantity we can offer for presentation folders is 20 on Digital Output. The smallest quantity we can offer on Offset is 250.

Select File Format:
- Bleed Area
- Trim Area
- Safe Area
Bleed Area refers to images that extend to the very edges of a design. To prevent an unwanted white border from showing at the edge of your design, or for the design to appear slightly off-center, be sure to extend any background colors or design elements all the way to the edge of bleed (.125” past the trim on all four sides).
Trim Area refers to the amount of the image that will appear on your finished product. These areas will also be marked with ‘cut lines’ on your proof and are where we aim to cut your card.
Safety Area in most cases refers to 1/8 of an inch inside of the Trim Area. For thicker papers 20pt and up or wooden papers the Safety Area increases ¼ of an inch inside the Trim Area. we strongly recommend you keep important aspects of your design such as text and logos well inside of the Safety Area, otherwise, they may be cut off.
