The magnets are reasonably light. A 3.5" x 2" magnet is generally approximately 5 to 6 grams.
Will the magnets work on a car?
Yes, and they are easily removable.
One thing to keep in mind when using the Magnets on cars is that dust and dirt trapped between the magnet and the cars painted surface may cause scratches. We recommend cleaning and wiping both surfaces down with a clean moist cloth before applying the magnet, and cleaning it regularly.
Can the Magnets be written on?
The Magnets can be written on with a permanent felt marker (like a Sharpie).
They can also be written on with a dry-erase marker, and then wiped clean. This is perfect for appointment reminders.
The Magnets are not suitable for ballpoint pens.
What are the magnets suitable for?
The uses of magnets are endless. Print your business card, flyer or other promotional piece on a Magnet and it will never be lost or forgotten again. Some other great uses include:

What will the Magnets attach to?
The magnets will attache to any thick metal surface; including:

We recommend testing our Magnets on the surface you will be applying them to before placing your order.
How strong are the magnets?
We offer 16PT thickness. These magnets are strong enough to hold themselves to metal refrigerators, but are not strong enough to hold papers. We would recommend contacting Customer Service to arrange a sample of magnets we have printed so you can test the product.

Bleed Area refers to images that extend to the very edges of a design. To prevent an unwanted white border from showing at the edge of your design, or for the design to appear slightly off-center, be sure to extend any background colors or design elements all the way to the edge of bleed (.125” past the trim on all four sides).
Trim Area refers to the amount of the image that will appear on your finished product. These areas will also be marked with ‘cut lines’ on your proof and are where we aim to cut your card.
Safety Area in most cases refers to 1/8 of an inch inside of the Trim Area. For thicker papers 20pt and up or wooden papers the Safety Area increases ¼ of an inch inside the Trim Area. we strongly recommend you keep important aspects of your design such as text and logos well inside of the Safety Area, otherwise, they may be cut off.
