We just launched our brand new YouTube channel that aims to bring viewers to the center of the action at Jukebox. In our first video of the series we shine the spotlight on a talented designer from St. Paul Minnesota. Abby Haddican is a multidisciplinary designer who works in branding, packaging, typography, illustration, and fine art. With a simple and elegant design, Abby's personal business cards were crafted in a way that utilizes a full range of Colorplan Collection papers. Using a one color letterpress process across 5 colored paper stocks, this design brings a unique palette to the design concept. Tabriz Blue, Pistachio Green, Factory Yellow, Candy Pink, Cool Blue, and Mandarin Orange, were chosen as the backdrop to her tasteful and effective concept. At 18pts in thickness, these papers hold a crisp and deep impression while adding a texture and feel that is memorable and unique. Colorplan remains an iconic and indispensable element of the designers craft.

Abby's design features an elegant, timeless, and well balanced style that is typographically strong and altogether classic – making the most of minimalism.
From the initial set up of the printing plate, preparing the press to run, adjusting the impression to perfection, and finally trimming down the cards – you can see every step in detail from blank paper to final product.
