How does Design Services work?

The Design Services process can be broken into four simple steps.

Step 1: Submit a quote

The first step to starting your design service is to fill out our online request form.

We encourage you to be as specific as possible in what you need. Contribute ideas, samples of items and colours that you like, or reference examples from our site if you want something similar. Equally important is for us to understand concepts you don't like -
The more information you give us to start out the better we will be able to determine what you need.

Step 2: Receive your quote

Your requirements will be reviewed by a designer, and we will supply you with a quote for your project. At this stage you can decide if you would like to proceed with the quote or not. For the design project to commence full payment of the quote must be made. Payment can be made by clicking the link in your PDF quote.

After approving the quote and making the payment for the requested services, one of our designers will get to work creating your design.

Step 3: Design review

Your design drafts will be sent to you via our online system for your review, comments and approval (you will be notified via email when this is ready). Once you approve the design, final files will be posted for you to download, and the design service will be complete.

Step 4: Send to Print/Production

Once your design is completed, press-ready PDF files will be prepared by the designer. You will be notified by email when they are available for download. Download the files. Files will be posted for 30 days for you to download – we suggest you store and back-up these files for future record.

You will then need to send the press-ready PDF files to the print (or production) process.

If you have a print order, upload the press-ready PDF files into your print order.

If your print order has been linked to your design service, you will be provided with a "Merge Files" button which will complete the above process with one simple click.

If you haven't place a print order yet, you will need to place a print order and then upload the press-ready PDF files into the print order.

What types of projects can you design for me?

You ask for it, we can create it. We offer a full range of design for print services, all created for you by our top notch team of designers.

Can you complete design jobs same day?

We value high-quality thoughtful design – which takes an investment of time. For this reason we do not offer same day design projects.

Do you offer rush design jobs?

Yes, we offer rush options. Additional charges apply to design jobs that are rushed – this fee varies on the type of project and on how quickly you need it completed.

As a general rule, a design job is considered a rush when less than 3 business days for smaller projects and less than 8 business days for larger projects (like logo mark design). Should you require rush design services, please place a Design Quote request, and contact our Customer Service line to notify us of your deadline.

Does the Design quote include printing as well?

Quotes for Design Service are for design only – printing costs are not included in a design quote.

How long will Design Services take?

Once paid the initial design draft will generally be sent within 3 business days.

When you receive your quote, it will also include a better estimation of the turnaround for when you will receive the first draft of your design. The turnaround time will vary depending on complexity and how busy our design department is. Please keep in mind that several rounds of revisions may be needed to complete your design project, so this will add to the time line.

Can I talk to a designer?

When you submit your Design Quote you will be contacted to discuss the quote and your needs.

If you would like a consultation with a designer, please mention this in the comments when submitting your Design Quote. Consultation appointments with our designers start at $45 for 30 minutes. This can be done via telephone call if you are not located nearby. An appointment must be made in advance.

Can I see a design before I pay for Design Services?

We require full payment of the Design Services Quote before our designers commence work on your project.

We understand you may be concerned about not knowing what the design will look like before payment. However, we have a team of qualified and experienced graphic designers at Jukeboxprint. If you are clear in your brief and in what you are wanting for your design (such as the look, style etc.) we are sure you will like our designers work.

Do you provide a few different visual options to choose from?

Each of the Design Service requests will be evaluated and provided a custom quote. The PDF sent with your quote will detail exactly the number of visuals and rounds of revisions included in the quoted price.

What happens if I don't like the design?

Our designers are qualified and internationally experienced. If you provide a detailed design brief we are confident that our design team will come up with something you will like.

If you are not happy with the designs provided, just let us know through the form provided with the draft. Our Design Quotes generally include two rounds of revisions for you to modify and perfect the design (the exact number of revisions will be detailed in your quote). You can also pay for additional rounds of revisions should you want to make further changes.

Should you choose to not proceed with design services – we can refund any remaining balance from the time not used for design services (or provide in-store credit for the amount).

What files will I receive when my Design Service is complete?

As a general rule, we will supply a press-ready PDF file. For logo design, an EPS and JPG format file will also usually be supplied.

The original design files will not be supplied.

No, there are no hidden fees. We are transparent with all costs itemised prior to the start of a project.

You will get notified of any changes and adjustments and work only progresses once you have agreed to the changes.

What is the refund policy for Design Services?

It is essential to provide a clear and detailed brief to our designers. We are confident that our experienced and qualified designers will be able to meet your needs.

Should you not be happy with the options provided by our designers – not to worry, generally our quotes include two rounds of revisions to allow you to modify and perfect the designs. The exact number of revisions will be detailed in your quote.

Should you choose to not proceed with design services – we can refund (or provide in-store credit) for any remaining balance of time not used by our designers. We cannot provide refunds due to change of mind, incomplete or incorrect information being supplied to our designers, or the design not being used.
