Isabelle van Wilsum

Isabelle van Wilsum has over a decade of experience combining her two favorite things: design and writing. She's been part of Topia Supply since 2015, creating much of its editorial content over the years. Her work ranges from in-depth tutorials and educational guides for established design platforms to behind-the-scenes ghostwriting for creative agencies.

A designer by day and writer by night, Isabelle has a soft spot for everything typography, illustration, and visual design. Adobe Illustrator has been the first app she opens on her laptop for as long as she can remember, although InDesign, Photoshop, and Figma get plenty of attention too. She's firmly on team vectors over pixels (even if those vectors end up displayed in pixels).

She's especially interested in where the creative industry is heading and loves keeping an eye on emerging styles, new tools, and the little details that make great design work.

When she's away from her screen, you'll usually find her out hiking, listening to a good podcast, or dreaming up another DIY project around the house. There's always something new to make, learn, or take apart and put back together.
