Painted edge postcards are ultra-thick postcards that have had a stripe of color applied to all four edges of the card. The face and back are printed full color as normal, but the edge — visible when you hold the card from the side — shows a contrasting or complementary color band.

Yes. At 32pt, painted edge postcards are structurally very strong and will not bend or crease in Canada Post's sorting process. The edge paint does not interfere with postal handling. We recommend using them in a poly mailer or padded envelope for maximum presentation.
