A finish that does something with light or texture, soft touch, cotton, or uncoated bright white, makes the card distinct from generic gloss. And premium print quality renders colors and blacks correctly. Get those right and the card reads as high-end the second it's in someone's hand.

For most professionals, yes, but the tier you need is probably lower than you think. An 18pt Soft Touch card feels several times more impressive than a basic gloss card, and the price difference is smaller than the perceptual gap. The jump from a standard card to a value-premium card delivers the biggest return on every dollar spent. Beyond that, you're mostly paying for diminishing differences unless you're in a luxury category.

Recycled matte. Our 18pt recycled stock comes from 100% post-consumer fiber, prints full-color cleanly, and sits at our standard stock pricing. After that, Soft Touch and Cotton are roughly equivalent in price, both delivering distinct premium textures. Mohawk Superfine is the most refined of the four, with pricing that reflects the stock's pedigree but still well within reach for most professional orders.

Soft Touch. It's the most universally flattering stock we offer. It works with photography, illustration, type-only designs, dark backgrounds, light backgrounds, everything. It's the lowest-risk premium upgrade and the one most people reorder. Cotton and Mohawk are excellent choices when they fit your brand. Recycled is the right call when sustainability is part of your positioning.
