Our standard postcards are printed on 20pt premium cardstock — noticeably thicker than the 14pt–16pt stock most online printers use. That extra weight gives the card a professional feel and holds up well during mailing and handling.

Can I mail a standard postcard without an envelope?

Yes. Standard postcards are designed for direct mail. The back of your postcard includes a compliant address zone for the recipient address, return address, and postage. For Canada Post compliance, the 4x6 size qualifies for the lowest postcard postal rate.

What is the difference between matte and gloss finish on a standard postcard?

Matte gives you a smooth, non-reflective finish that is easy to read and feels refined. Gloss gives you a shiny, high-contrast finish that makes photos and bold colors pop. Neither is better — it depends on whether your design is photography-heavy or typography-driven.

Can I write on the back of a standard postcard?
